Oli Baxendale:

With over two decades of professional experience as a drummer, Oli Baxendale has established himself as a versatile and accomplished musician, having collaborated with a diverse array of talented artists across the globe. His passion for music transcends genres, evident in his ability to deliver captivating performances ranging from soulful ballads to dynamic big band arrangements.

Oli's musical journey began at the age of fourteen in Winchester, England, where he immersed himself in various school bands and excelled in music examinations. This dedication led him to pursue a degree in music at Drumtech, London, one of the world's premier music institutes. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as Paul Elliott, Brian Greene, Mark Roberts, and Tom Meadows, Oli honed his skills in drumming, composition, and arrangement, setting the stage for his professional career.

Since completing his Bachelor of Music degree with honors, Oli has showcased his talent on both national and international stages. Highlights include performances in Canada with the acclaimed cover band 'Indefinitely' and collaborations with renowned artists such as Butch Thomas. His versatility shines through in his ability to authentically interpret various musical genres, from rock and pop with 'Lost Minute' to Latin grooves with the 'James Manders Band.'

Oli's musical journey has taken him around the world, including extended engagements with P+O Cruises, where he not only entertained audiences but also refined his sight-reading and jazz skills. His global adventures continued with performances in luxury hotels across South Korea, Bahrain, Dubai, and China, where he showcased his expertise not only as a drummer but also as a sound engineer and showrunner.

In recent years, Oli has expanded his role as a bandleader, spearheading projects such as 'The Heavies' and 'SuperNova' while continuing to delight audiences with the acclaimed 'Funky Monkey' band in the UK.

With a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence, Oli Baxendale continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his dynamic performances and unwavering dedication to his craft.
